GAF Roof Defender

GAF came in hot, asking for a VR game to include in their International Roofing Expo booth - but I saw the vision. Good roofing prevents damage caused by weather and climate events we can predict in advance. It reminded me of the gameplay loop of a tower defense game, in which the player must prepare for an oncoming attack with preventative measures.
Sprinting with the team at LPX Digital we developed this VR experience that sets the player atop a scissor lift with inclement weather. They must select the GAF roofing technology best suited to the weather and install it on the roof before the weather hits.
The final version in the booth was playable on a false scissor lift platform which delivered haptic feedback.
